Now in its eighth year, FuturvTex 2003 continues to celebrate the work of people throughout the Canadian textile industry's workforce. Registrants joined speakers, sponsors and suppliers to hear about human resources best practices, technical developments and other innovative ways the industry is overcoming the challenges of today’s workplace.

The national event attracted more than 200 people from textile companies, unions, supplier firms and related organizations. Many thanks to Lucie Brassard of Consoltex Inc. and René Constantin, President of the Textile Federation of Canada, for acting as the Masters of Ceremonies for the event.
