The Skills Transition Program is a way to assist Canadian textile workers who have lost their jobs due to changing markets and business slowdowns. The program provides free access to relevant online resources for identified personnel facing lay-offs or permanent job loss. Resources include textile-specific job postings, targeted infromation regarding federal/provincial training programs, income replacement, entrepreneurial support, and full access to THRC's textile manufacturing programs and business and personal development programs.
